In collaboration with KINO Rotterdam organized Socires A movie series called KINOsofie. It's a film series about the impact of technology on our lives. Each film screening was introduced by a leading thinker who invites us to watch, reflect and discuss the future of society and the role of technology. The introduction was provided by Miriam Rasch.Â

The reason for this series is the collection 'Denken over film: Techniek in Beeld'. The collection contains eight essays by well-known philosophers, aimed at making large (life) questions accessible for discussion in relation to new information technology developments and applications. About the movie

About the speaker
Miriam Rasch is a philosopher, writer and researcher at the Willem de Kooning Academy. In 2021, she won the Socrates Cup for her book "Frictie: Ethics in Tijden van Dataisme." In 2024 the book "Listening exercises" appeared from her hand. About attention and admissibility.
