Organised on 10 April 2026 Socires A symposium in honor of our 25th anniversary. We are founded as an independent think tank to care for the vitality of culture and society. In several programmes, we are still working on what holds society together and how civil society organisations, churches, businesses, citizens and public institutions can take responsibility for this. We think that question today is more urgent than ever.

At this symposium we mainly look ahead. After a short documentary by the talented filmmakers of ZINCentral we talk to two eminent thinkers, prof. Talja Blokland and prof. Lisa Herzog. With them we think about how the economy and the urban environment can be used to humanise society.

In addition to a substantive discussion, there is plenty of room for informal meeting on 10 April.
