During the Symposium 'Entrepreneurship and Working for Tomorrow' of 18 June, the new SociresPublication Dreamers, thinkers, doers - talks about tomorrow's economy. The book is written by Govert Buijs, Ellen Klaver and Marcus van Toor.
About the Book
What kind of economy is making us as people really better? That question is the common thread of this bundle. In a series of inspiring interviews today's innovators share their ideas and experiences with tomorrow's economy from CEOs and entrepreneurs to artists, scientists and politicians: an economy that is more social and sustainable than in recent decades.
The interviewees not only dare to dream about what such an economy can look like, but also think about what it needs and take the first steps to make it happen. In doing so, the bundle shows how a new approach to the economy is a multi-actor approach, such as Jan Peter Balkenende and Govert Buijs who Capitalism Reconnected (2024) An approach in which everyone plays a role and bears responsibility: government, businesses, civil society organisations and consumers.
The book has been published at the Amsterdam University Press and is available in all bookshops. Do you have any questions or comments? Send a message to socires@socires.nl.
