Preview-election of 2026

FOR organises an annual election for projects contributing to a positive development in society. This year's focus is: 'FOR Bridge builders. The image-election 2026 offers a stage and an impetus to initiatives that bring people and perspectives closer together. Together with De Bruggenbouwers do Socires join the project"Back to Each other."

Many residents and entrepreneurs experience incomprehension and distrust when initiating far-reaching local decisions. Not as a conversation, but as an announcement. It's all about your environment, your company, your future. Questions build up, emotions build up and the feeling is that everything is already fixed. At that stage, positions harden quickly and consultation turns into mistrust.

The goal of Bruges to Each other is to take exactly this vane. The project enables residents, entrepreneurs and government to come to decisions together on socially loaded issues such as the installation of wind turbines or the construction of a bypass. These are subjects that intervene deeply in everyday life and in which interests, responsibilities and emotions can be strongly opposed. Residents are concerned about their living environment and future, entrepreneurs about investments, accessibility and continuity, while civil servants and directors are under pressure to achieve legal tasks and societal goals.

Public Voting Round

All proposals have a public ballot to be presented to the jury. It subsequently determines which projects receive financial support.Voting on our project can be done until 24 May via the following link:
