With four Master's students in Public Administration - graduation direction Boarding of Security - of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Ronald van Steden conducts thesis research into the balance between hospitality and security in public libraries. This study follows on from the SociresProgramme onPublic libraries and Citizenship. At the library everyone is welcome, but that also has a shadow side.
