After the meeting with Ton Heerts two weeks ago, participants of the Young Professionals Program of Socires and Foundation Thomas More in conversation with Mark Buck. Buck is a member of the board of directors of the Verus dome of schools, vice-president of the CDA and vice-president of the Saint Stephanus parish in Nijmegen. It was recently announced that he will take over the presidency of Verus on 1 July 2024. He liked to tell the young professionals everything about this special career.

In the two-hour meeting, Heerts shared extensively about his career, his personal life and his vision on current political and social themes.

This research centre, embedded in the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religion Sciences (FTR), focuses on academic research into sustainability from an integral and discipline-crossing perspective.
