Background

COVID-19, climate change, digitalisation and geopolitics are all rapidly and fundamentally changing the risk and opportunity landscape for investors. More than ever companies need to rethink how they create value in a sustainable way. Does this require a new relation between investors and companies? How can asset owners and managers position themselves for the turbulent developments ahead? What are the advantages of more direct relations between investors and companies? What metrics can be used to focus the dialogue on long-term value creation rather than short-term financial metrics that may hide large future risks?
