In November 2024, Carmody Grey, the new professor of medicine, brought Integral Ecology at Radboud University Nijmegen, her first visit to the Netherlands. The special chair is an initiative of Socires. Socires-workers Ward Huetink and Ellen Klaver interviewed her for magazine Volzin about the relationship between ecology and spirituality, her personal motivations and the importance of the humanities.

On November 30, 2024, the new book Zin in Society was presented in the Walkart community in Zeist. The book is one of the results of the first year of the Socires-Program Structures of Sense. In this program Socires in collaboration with Vrijzielen Nederland research into the emergence of new social connections and contemporary forms of meaning.

Young Leaders in Finance (YLF) is the leadership program for young professionals in finance and goes to autumn 2024. On 1 October, the group of 25 ambitious young professionals gathered for the first meeting of the Young Leaders in Ecology. The guest was Marianne Thieme, sustainability strategist, publicist and theologian. Gerard Kuperus, a million-dollar philosopher at the Laudato Si' Institute in Nijmegen, gave an introduction.

On the Floor Day Ecological spirituality on October 18, 2024, spiritual thinkers stimulated the public from themes such as kinship, confusion, wonder, connectedness and perseverance to shape their lives in practice from a spiritual and ecological sustainability ideal.
